My knees get weak and I'm losing vision.
The clock just keeps ticking in this bleak existence.
No one can hold your hand and guide you through life.
You just gotta fight to survive.
Throughout the years you deal with the truth.
Memories are the only thing that preserve your youth.
Now those times have gone and passed.
We try to hold on to anything to make it last.

A constant struggle to live.
Each day it's just the same.
My future and my past constricting me.
Weighed down by every mistake.
I'm trying to hold on to hope.
It just keeps slipping away.
Drowning in fear of the unknown.
These nightmares won't go away.

Don't wanna succumb to the reality
I just keep pushing this fear away.
Your life is only worth the dollar you make.
No one cares whether or not if happy.
Does anyone make it out of here with pride?
Or do we just settle until we die?
